Welcome to Ascendia
We help international students from the moment they have their offer to settling in their first week.
The reality
These are the things that keep parents up at night.
Quick WhatsApps and video calls rarely show you whether they're coping academically and emotionally.
The UK university system, expectations and social norms are different to anything they've experienced before.
Visas, banking, SIMs, NHS registration, campus systems — it's a lot for a teenager to manage alone.
Agents and school counsellors focus on applications. Once your child arrives, you have very little visibility.
Our Services
From preparation to integration, each phase provides clarity, structure, and peace of mind.
Stage 01
Complete preparation before your student lands in the UK.
Stage 02
Structured settling-in during the most critical early period.
Stage 03
Ongoing strategic guidance and structured oversight.
Our Assurance
If you are not fully satisfied within the first 30 days, we provide a complete refund — no conditions, no delays.
About Us
Co-Founder
James studied Engineering at Imperial College London after moving from Singapore at eighteen. He experienced first-hand the disorientation of arriving in a new country with little guidance beyond the academic. That experience shaped his belief that structured support during the transition period is not optional — it is essential. He is committed to building Ascendia into a service that meets the highest standards families expect.
Co-Founder
Sofia read Economics at Imperial College London, arriving from Mexico City with no prior experience of life in the UK. The challenges she navigated — from banking to healthcare to simply understanding how things work — stayed with her long after graduation. She founded Ascendia alongside James to ensure other students begin their journey with the clarity and structure she wished she had. Her focus is on building a service families can trust completely.
Our Vision
We know what it takes to leave home and start again in a new country. We have navigated unfamiliar systems, cultural differences, academic pressure, and the quiet uncertainty that comes with independence. That experience shaped our belief that students deserve more than informal guidance or reactive support.
The first year at university is foundational — academically, socially, and personally. It sets habits, expectations, and confidence.
Ascendia was built to provide a structured and dependable framework around that first year — ensuring students are not simply adjusting, but thriving.
